Boho braids and messy-bun

Hello! This is a really pretty, flexible hairstyle that I made up today.

So first take two sections off of each side of your head and braid them
 Taada!
 Then take the right-side braids, cross them over to the left side, and pin them.
Then take the left-side braids and cross them over to the right side of your head, and pin them.
It should look like this.

 I had an extra piece of hair between the braids so I braided it and added it in. You could
just pin the braids right now, and it would be really pretty.
 Then I twisted both sides and secured them with a hairband,
 Like this. And then I made a bun.
 Then 'cause we're going for a boho look, pin the bun, and rough it up with your
fingers lightly, and pin the loose strands.
 And there you have it! Ain't it pretty?

Braided Bun

   Ok, so today I'm going to show you something that's really easy and versatile. It can be dressed up and formal or relaxed.  Today I''m going to be more relaxed.

So, first put all of your hair into a ponytail. Please excuse all of the yellowish tones in these pictures!

 Then go all the way down in a braid and secure it. You can stop here if you just want your hair out of your face :-)
 then take the end of your braid and wrap it around in a circle, making a bun.
 Then stick a bajillion bobby pins into various parts
of your bun to secure it.
 Smooth over all of the rough spots and stick a flower in!
You could also use hair sticks to secure if you wanted to.
And there you have it!

Love,
~Gracie

I Love this Quote

I just thought that this was so true, I'm going to have to put it to music....:-)
"Could we with ink the ocean fill,
And were the skies of parchment made;
Were ev'ry stalk on earth a quill,
And ev'ry man a scribe by trade;
To write the love of God above
Would drain the ocean dry;
Nor could the scroll contain the whole,
Though stretched from sky to sky."

Love,

French braid bun

Hello! So today I'm going to show you how to do a french braid bun.

So first start with a clean head of hair. I found that it's easier to do hair if it's wet, so you can spray it if you want.

Do a French braid all the way down your hair and go into a regular braid.

Grab the end of the braid and wrap it around itself, making a bun.

Like so.
Now that you have the bun, you can bobbypin or clip in place, I used three clips and they worked very well.
Then all you need to do is add a flower and you're done! Simple, pretty, and fast!

~Pincurls~
Take a strand of hair.
wrap it around your finger, twisting under.
Then when you get it to your head, take a bobby pin and push it through the hair on you
finger and the hair on your head, so it secures it close to your head in an "O" shape.

Then lightly spray with water. This will help it set, let it sit for 15 minutes or until the water is dry, then undo the bobbypin, and Volia! Pincurls!

 Have a Happy New Year!
